An independent repair company focused on premium kitchens
Wolf Appliance Services is an independent repair company in San Jose that works on built-in and pro-style kitchen equipment. We lead with Wolf ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, and outdoor grills, and we also repair Sub-Zero refrigeration, Viking cooking and refrigeration products, and Thermador appliances. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these manufacturers. Our approach is simple: find the actual cause, explain it clearly, and let you decide what to do next. Premium appliances are designed to be serviced, and a failed igniter, control board, fan motor, or door gasket usually doesn't mean the whole unit is finished. Local conditions matter too. The Santa Clara Valley has dry summers, and inland and southern neighborhoods run noticeably hotter than areas near the Bay, which adds load on refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, and ice makers. When we look at a cooling problem, we check condenser airflow, door seals, and fans along with the more obvious suspects.

What happens during a repair visit?
We ask about the symptoms, inspect and test the appliance, and explain what we found. If a repair makes sense, we go over what's involved before any work begins, and you decide whether to proceed.
Is it worth repairing a high-end appliance instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Premium built-in appliances are designed to be serviced, and many common failures involve replaceable parts. We'll give you an honest read on the unit's condition so you can weigh repair against replacement.
My refrigerator struggles in summer. Is that normal?
Hot weather makes any refrigerator work harder, especially in inland and southern parts of the valley. But warm temperatures, constant running, or frost buildup can also point to dirty condenser coils, a weak fan, or worn door gaskets, which are worth checking.
