  • Diagnosis before any repair
  • Plain-English explanations
  • Genuine OEM parts

Wolf Appliance Services is an independent repair company that works on premium kitchen appliances in homes in and around San Jose. We focus on Wolf ranges, ovens and cooktops, and we also repair Sub-Zero refrigeration, Viking cooking and refrigeration equipment, and Thermador appliances. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these brands. We are simply a team that knows how this equipment is built and how to get it working again.

How we approach a repair

High-end appliances are built to last, and most problems can be fixed. Our job is to find the actual cause before recommending anything. A Wolf oven that won't hold temperature, a Sub-Zero that's running warm, a Viking burner that won't light, or a Thermador dishwasher that stops mid-cycle can each have several possible causes. We test rather than guess.

Once we know what's wrong, we explain it in plain terms: what failed, why it likely failed, and what it will take to fix it. If a repair doesn't make sense for your situation, we'll say so and tell you why. You make the decision with the facts in front of you.

  • Diagnose first, then recommend a repair
  • Explain the problem in plain language before starting work
  • Give you honest advice when a repair isn't worth it
  • Respect your kitchen and clean up when the job is done

Built around premium equipment

We concentrate on a short list of brands so we can know them well. Wolf cooking equipment comes first for us, and we also work regularly on Sub-Zero, Viking and Thermador. These appliances have their own designs, control systems and quirks. Familiarity with them helps us work efficiently and avoid trial-and-error part swapping.

Many of these appliances are built into custom cabinetry or paired with panel-ready fronts. We take care when pulling a unit out, opening a panel, or working around finished surfaces, because the kitchen around the appliance matters as much as the appliance itself.

Working in San Jose homes

The Santa Clara Valley has dry summers and mild, damp winters, and inland and southern parts of the valley run noticeably hotter in summer than areas near the Bay. Warm kitchens and garages put extra load on refrigeration, so we pay attention to airflow, condenser condition and installation clearances when we look at a refrigerator or freezer that's struggling.

We serve San Jose and nearby communities. When you contact us, tell us the brand, the appliance and what you're noticing. It helps us arrive prepared and spend our time on the fix.

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Diagnosis comes first

We test and inspect before naming a fix, so the recommendation is based on what we actually found rather than a guess from the symptom alone.

  2. Clear explanations

We tell you what failed, why it likely failed, and what your options are, including when a repair may not make sense for an older unit.

  3. Care in your home

Built-in appliances sit inside finished cabinetry and stone. We protect floors and surfaces, work carefully around trim panels, and leave the area clean.

Tell us what your appliance is doing

Describe the problem and the brand and model if you have it. We'll follow up to schedule a diagnostic visit and talk through what to expect.
